What Vehicle Upfitting Actually Covers
Upfitting is everything that happens between a truck coming off the transporter and a truck showing up ready to work. That can mean mounting a service body or a box, installing a liftgate, wiring lighting and strobes, laying out shelving and bins so a technician can find a fitting without unloading the van, spraying a bedliner, or putting your name on the side.
