Frequently Asked Questions

  • What types of commercial trucks does Lynch Truck Center sell?

    • We stock work trucks for the trades and for fleets: box trucks, cargo vans and cutaways, service and utility bodies, dump trucks, landscape bodies, flatbeds and stake beds, refrigerated bodies, pickups, and bare cab-and-chassis units ready for upfit. Most of what we carry is light- to medium-duty, which is what the majority of businesses actually run day to day.

  • What commercial truck brands does Lynch Truck Center carry?

    • We are a Certified Isuzu dealership, a Hino Certified Ultimate dealership, and a Chevrolet and GMC Business Elite dealership. Those four brands, Chevrolet, GMC, Isuzu, and Hino, are what our commercial inventory is built around, and they are what our parts and service departments are factory-authorized to support. The truck you buy here is one we can also stock parts for and repair.

  • What is a cab-and-chassis, and do I need one?

    • A cab-and-chassis is a truck delivered without a body behind the cab, so the body can be built around the work. If you need a dump body, a service body, a landscape body, or a box, you start with a cab-and-chassis and we upfit it. If you need a truck that works the day you take delivery, we also stock completed units with bodies already installed. Which way you go usually comes down to how specific your requirements are and how fast you need the truck.

  • What body brands does Lynch Truck Center install on commercial trucks?

    • Our current inventory carries bodies from Knapheide, Monroe, Wil-Ro, Bay Bridge, and other established manufacturers, covering service and utility bodies, KUV enclosed bodies, dump bodies, landscape bodies, stake beds, and van bodies. If you have run a particular body brand before and want to stay with it, tell your Account Manager during the spec.

  • Should I buy a gas or a diesel work truck?

    • It depends on duty cycle. Gas costs less up front and makes sense for lighter loads, shorter routes, and trucks that do a lot of stop-and-go with idle time. Diesel costs more but returns it in torque, fuel economy under heavier loads, and longevity if the truck runs hard and racks up miles. Our Chevrolet and GMC lineup includes plenty of gas options, and our Isuzu and Hino trucks are mostly diesel. Tell us your routes and your payload and we will steer you.

  • Can Lynch Truck Center upfit a commercial truck for my trade?

    • Yes, and it is done in-house at our Waterford facility. We handle shelving and bin packages, ladder racks, toolboxes and headache racks, liftgates, E-track, spray-in bedliners, LED lighting and strobes, hitches, plows, telematics, electrical upgrades, and company graphics. Working from proven packages or a custom spec, we can turn a chassis into a work-ready truck without you managing a second vendor.

  • Is pricing listed on commercial trucks?

    • On many units, yes. Where a listing shows a Lynch Easy Price, that is the price. Some units show MSRP or a prompt to contact us instead, usually because the build is still in progress or the configuration is not final. Either way, call Sales at 262-514-4000 or submit the form on the listing and we will give you the complete number, including the body and any options.

  • Does Lynch Truck Center sell used commercial trucks?

    • Yes. Alongside new inventory we carry pre-owned work trucks, most of them coming in on trade from customers upgrading their fleets. Filter this page to Pre-Owned to see current used units, or tell our sales team what you are after and we will reach out when something matching comes through.

  • Can Lynch Truck Center handle a multi-truck fleet order?

    • Yes. We work with businesses running a single truck and businesses running entire fleets, and multi-unit orders are routine here. Ordering several trucks at once lets us keep the spec consistent across the group, which makes life easier for your drivers and simpler for service scheduling. Our finance team can structure the whole order together.

  • Where is Lynch Truck Center's commercial inventory located?

    • Our commercial trucks are at our Waterford, WI headquarters at 2530 Beck Drive, where our parts center, service center, collision center, and upfit shop all sit on the same site. We sell and deliver nationwide, so being out of state is not a problem. Call Sales at 262-514-4000 to confirm a truck is on the ground before you make the trip.
