As one of the world's leaders in "green" diesel engine technology, Isuzu uses the most cost-effective selective catalytic reduction (SCR) method to reduce 2011 N-Series diesel commercial truck emissions to near-zero levels.

Isuzu's Eco-Max is a brand new Class 3 12,000-lb. GVWR low cab forward NPR Isuzu commercial truck that offers up to up to 20% improved fuel economy and increased payload capacity compared to other NPR models. These new NPR Eco-Max commercial trucks are powered by Isuzu's "next generation" 4J diesel commercial truck engine family - 2010 EPA and CARB OBD compliant. Already used in N-Series Isuzu commercial trucks models worldwide, this is the first time a 4J diesel truck engine will be introduced in the U.S. market. The 4J engine is the highest volume diesel commercial truck engine produced by Isuzu.

Compared to previous N-Series NPR models, Eco-Max Isuzu commercial truck for sale is up to 170 lbs lighter, so it offers increased payload capacity.
